Seeing Beauty in others by Spiritual Eyes.
I think that all the people would like to look beautiful. But I heard that if all the people looked the same, it would not be good. I heard that randomness (which creates different looks) is a better way to go. But randomness also means some people look pretty darn ugly.
I was told that imperfections of the form is something that makes a form look beautiful. An example is: if you take a diamond... the perfect diamond would look like a simple sphere. But a diamond with different ridges is the one that has imperfections. These ridges, these imperfections, is what makes a diamond look beautiful.
Besides, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Different people would look at the same image and some would see it as beautiful and some would see it as ugly.
I was told that beauty has to do with feelings. If something makes you feel good when you interact with it, this thing (or a person) will start to look beautiful to you. In other words, your brain will create an association: this person = something beautiful. So this form (like of this person) will become something beautiful in your eyes. And because of the associations of the good feelings that are related to this form, you will start to see the form as beautiful.
I was hoping that in the afterlife everyone would look perfect and beautiful. But I was told that people look like themselves, like here. BUT, they seem beautiful to others. Because there is lots of love going around, lots of good feelings. And so the perception changes and people start to look beautiful to each other.
So I was told that yes, people in the afterlife will look beautiful to each other. (even though they would still have the same form).
I was also told that you can visualize beauty. For example, we know that we should see the beauty of the inner person. But this is figurative in our world. In a different world, people can actually SEE the beauty. Not just in a figurative sense, but in real sense.
So for example, one person was looking at this ugly lady in the movie. And for a moment, this same lady appeared as a beautiful lady to him. And I asked why did he see this lady as beautiful. I was told that he saw the inner beauty for that moment. It's the beauty itself that he saw. And this beauty also made the outer form look beautiful as well.
So if people can see each other's inner beauty, and they are all good and beautiful people on the inside, it's not wonder they would perceive each other as beautiful. (in the afterlife)
But, as a side note, I was told that people would be able to change their outer look if they want to. In our world, we can change the look through plastic surgery and make up. But there (in the afterlife) you can do even more and not by painful methods. So I said: well, if people change their look, will they still recognize each other? I was told that yes, they would. It's like people in the afterlife can see the inside of each other instead of just the outer look. My assumption is that there is like a fingerprint (or something like that) and people are able to perceive that, and it's beyond the outer physical form.
Some people describe their encounters with higher beings and say: he looked deep into my soul, like he could see deep inside me. Well, this kind of ability to see will be responsible for people recognizing each other even though their outward form would change.
But about seeing beauty or picturing beauty. Beauty is a concept, but we could visualize it. It is my belief that some angels are seen as beautiful people because these angels are actually beautiful ideas. And these beautiful ideas are pictured in our brain as beautiful people. And demons are ugly ideas. And so they are pictured in our brain as various looking ugly monsters. So when someone runs into a signal of fear (an idea), he may perceive this idea as an ugly monster (and assign the title of the "demon" to it)
